OUR STORY
An Exceptional Place in the Heart of the Flanders Hills
Perched at 152 meters above sea level on Mont Noir, Altitude 152 is a place of rejuvenation, hospitality, and reconnection—where nature, culture, and heritage meet. Located between Lille and Dunkirk, just steps from the Belgian border and the Marguerite Yourcenar Park, it offers breathtaking views over the plains and a peaceful atmosphere ideal for disconnecting from everyday life.
It is also a strategic location at the crossroads of hiking trails across Mont Noir, Mont Rouge, and Mont des Cats, where the rich heritage of French and Belgian Flanders awaits.
A Living, Evolving Place
Altitude 152 is a place that will grow with its visitors, its partners, and its region. We will bring all our know-how and sense of hospitality to offer an inspiring escape—rooted in both people and nature.

Did you know? In the 1930s, along the entire Belgian border (right here in our area!), as well as the borders with Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Italy, the Maginot Line was built to defend France from an attack from the East. Our land is part of this line, and from the top of the bunker, you can see the entire Flanders plain all the way to Nieuwpoort. Not a bad view, right? The bunker was reportedly used by border customs officers to watch for smugglers!
